Adela Dart, M.S., CCC-SLP
Owner & Speech-Language Pathologist
Adela is a highly qualified speech-language pathologist with over 22 years of clinical experience. She has treated communication and swallowing disorders in a variety of settings, including an acute care hospital, sub-acute hospital, skilled nursing facility, home health agency, outpatient pediatric clinic, and the public school system. Early on in her career, she became the youngest Director of Rehabilitation for the largest healthcare company in the U.S. and continues to pursue personal and professional growth.
Adela co-founded Lumen Healthcare Partners to create a supportive and collaborative work environment for her fellow speech-language pathologists and to bring excellent therapy services to underserved areas. She understands that a positive work environment leads to better therapy and increased outcomes for all, and she strives to create a company that encourages personal and professional growth for all employees.
In her personal life, she is a pilates instructor, an avid hiker, and a guitar player. She has been dancing for nearly 35 years and loves staying active. Whenever Adela gets the chance, she goes RVing to explore new places with her husband and dogs!
